Arrest Made in Fatal Shooting of “American Idol” Executive and Husband
An arrest has been made in the shocking double murder of a longtime “American Idol’ executive and her husband.
Robin Kaye, the show’s music supervisor, and her husband, musician Thomas Deluca, were found fatally shot in their $4.5 million Encino home. Police say the couple walked in on a burglary in progress and were killed during a confrontation.
Both were shot in the head and found in separate rooms—Kaye in the pantry, Deluca in the bathroom.
The suspect, 22-year-old Raymond Boodarian, was arrested without incident. Authorities say there’s no known connection between him and the victims, and the case remains under investigation.
