Drake Has Been Accused Of Using Casino Website To Increase Play Counts Of His Music

Drake has been accused in a federal class-action lawsuit for using the casino website Stake-us to increase the play counts of his music across major streaming platforms.
The lawsuit said Drake and his co-conspirators used automated bots and streaming farms to artificially inflate play counts on Spotify and other streaming services. The lawsuit says the rapper was trying to manufacture popularity and “distort playlists and charts.”
Drake is a brand ambassador for Stakeus.com and its parent company Stake. He signed a promotional deal in 2022 that pays him $100 million a year.
No one has been criminally charged at this time.
